Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and providing oral hygiene instructions.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information.- Perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including radiology, medical coding, and dental receptionist duties.- Utilize 3D scanner technology to assist in dental procedures and provide patients with a more comprehensive understanding of their oral health.- Work closely with the dental team to ensure efficient and organized care, and maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.- Assist with pediatric dentistry patients, providing a gentle and caring approach to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.- Familiarize yourself with electronic health records (EHR) systems and assist with data entry and retrieval.- Demonstrate a commitment to aseptic technique, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients.
Skills:- Experience in pediatric dentistry or a willingness to learn.- Proficiency in using dental systems and software, including Epic.- Strong understanding of dental receptionist duties and experience with medical coding.- Familiarity with X-ray technology and ability to assist with radiology procedures.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment and adhering to aseptic technique.- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dental team and provide exceptional patient care.
