Private dental office seeking talented patient financial coordinator who is cross-trained as a back office assistant. We need your help to grow our progressive and forward-thinking practice. We believe we play a key role in our patients total health and need your leadership to move our team to the next level. You understand the nuances of dental insurance and can communicate with patients how to effectively utilize their benefits.
You value dentistry, understand its role in systemic healthcare, and can confidently ask for OTC payments.
You can effectively create financial agreements to help patients get the dentistry they need.

Documentation and reporting of your efforts comes naturally.
You understand Key Performance Indicators of Collections, AR balances, and # claims past due.

Requirements
At least 5 years in a dental office; Minimum 2 yearsâ experience as a dental assistant.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook
Understanding of dental codes, nuances of insurance billing, and posting of claims.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, doctors, office team
Able to confidently resolve conflict and find mutually beneficial solutions
Energetic and positive professional both in person and on the phone
Excelling at treatment planning, scheduling, and working with financing options with patients
Preference Given
Knowledge of Carestack
Medical billing experience for sleep appliances
Preference is given to individuals who have more working experience in both the back and front office.

Schedule: M-Th / Tue-Friday rotating schedule
Compensation: $24-28 hour plus incentives, PTO, paid holidays, simple IRA with matching, health insurance options, and discount on dental services. Increased pay available after onboarding and training.
