Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients- Process insurance claims and submit them to insurance companies- Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve any issues or discrepancies- Communicate with patients regarding their insurance coverage and payment responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date insurance records for patients- Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure efficient billing and reimbursement processes
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred- Familiarity with dental insurance plans and terminology- Proficient in using dental practice management software for insurance processing- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling insurance claims- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
