The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental professionals in various procedures. Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Perform tasks such as taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and assisting with medical imaging.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Manage patient records using dental software systems, including Epic, while ensuring accuracy in medical coding.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients.
Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care in areas such as prosthodontics and endodontics.
Ensure the dental clinic is organized, clean, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry is beneficial.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and best practices in a clinical setting.
Ability to operate advanced equipment such as 3D scanners is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially children in pediatric settings.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
