Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing efficient, quality dental treatment while maintaining excellent patient care.
Responsibilities- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments- Take and develop dental X-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Maintain accurate patient records- Schedule patient appointments- Manage inventory of dental supplies
Skills- Proficiency in using 3D scanners for dental imaging- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques- Familiarity with medical coding practices- Experience with dental software such as Epic and Eaglesoft- Ability to take and develop dental X-rays- Understanding of endodontic procedures- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Strong background in dental assisting techniques- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques
