Job Description

We are a busy specialty dental practice looking for a dental assistant to join our team in our office in Mechanicsville, VA. The ideal candidate should have knowledge or experience in all aspects of a dental office, be certified to take dental x-rays, be very detail oriented, ready to work at a face pace, and must have superior customer service skills.
Duties include but not limited to:
Assist the endodontist chairside during evaluations, dental procedures, including root canals, surgeries, and other treatments.Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sterility.Take X-rays and CBCT scans as needed.Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as necessary.Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent patient care and support.All staff members are cross trained in all aspects of the office. You will be asked to cover the front desk from time to time in addition to your duties assisting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
