OverviewWe are seeking a skilled, upbeat, and friendy Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and dental cleanings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Perform dental charting and documentation review- Take dental x-rays including CBCTs, PANs, and BWs and PAs- Provide preventive dental care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations- Utilize Practice Management Software like OpenDental or similar dental software systems for patient records- Assist with dental procedures if needed
Qualifications- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Michigan- Proficiency in patient assessment and oral hygiene education- Knowledge of dental anatomy- Strong documentation review skills- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team- Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus
-Spanish Language skills (Written and Verbal) are helpful but not required
