Dental Hygienist
The Purchase District Health Department is seeking a qualified applicant for a Dental Hygienist to provide the oversite of the preventive dental services in school settings throughout the Purchase District. Counties include McCracken, Ballard, Carlisle, Fulton, Hickman. The Public Health Registered Dental Hygienist is a contracted partial-year position. Hours worked per year are 1500 hours. This is a full benefit position. There is a 5% increase at successful completion of 6 mos.
Schedule aligns with school calendar. Unpaid time off at school breaks and every other week in the summer. Employee can use accrued PTO during this time if they choose.
Education and experience: Must be a licensed as a Dental Hygienist by the Kentucky State board of Dentistry. Must have two (2) years and 3,000 hours of experience. Upon employment must obtain Public Health Hygienist registration from the Kentucky State board of Dentistry.
Salary hourly pay rate of $30.00 per hour. Excellent fringe benefit package.
