Dental Hygienist - Brandenburg Dental Office - Princeton, KY

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for managing patient information and scheduling.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Apply aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene practices.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in general dentistry preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficient in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft.
Strong knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality patient care.
