Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. The Dental assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Chairside dental assisting, infection control, sterilization
Schedule appointments and manage the dentist's calendar efficiently.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding dental services.
Maintain accurate dental documentation and patient records in compliance with regulations.
Assist with billing and insurance verification processes.
Utilize Mogo software for managing patient information and appointments
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Stay informed about dental terminology, procedures, and office protocols.
Requirements
Familiarity with Scan-x and X-ray equipment is a plus.
Experience in assisting within a dental setting is advantageous.
Proficient in dental documentation practices.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Previous experience Mogo or similar dental practice management software is desirable.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
