Who We're Looking For

MediDental Care is seeking an experienced and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3-5 years of experience in a dental office and possess a passion for providing exceptional care to patients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the dentist’s office operates efficiently and provides a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly, professional manner
    
    

  • Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
    
    

  • Select, set up, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures
    
    

  • Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
    
    

  • Assist the dentist during procedures using 4-handed dentistry
    
    

  • Undertake lab tasks as assigned
    
    

  • Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care to patients
    
    

  • Maintain clean and well-stocked dental treatment rooms
    
    

  • Schedule patient appointments and manage records accurately
    
    

  • Assist with patient payment procedures
    
    

  Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental assistant (required)
    
    

  • Proficiency with Dentrix and Dexis software
    
    

  • Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
    
    

  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing (preferred)
    
    

  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in office software
    
    

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
    
    

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    
    

  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to dental office regulations
    
    

  • High school diploma; graduation from an accredited dental assistant school preferred
    
    

  • Additional certifications (e.g., EFDA) are a plus
