Job Description
We are looking for a DENTAL PATIENT COORDINATOR to join our team!
EXPECTATIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control the schedule for two dentists and one hygienist
Reach out to unscheduled patients through text, email, and phone.
Check-in and check-out patients in a friendly manner
Be familiar with our fees and how dental insurance works. We are out of network, fee-for-service, and private.
Be comfortable discussing dental treatment plans and payment options with all patients who require treatment
Verifying insurance eligibility
Following up on unscheduled treatment with patients
Sharing some responsibilities with the treatment coordinator (e.g. entering payments, following up with insurance)
Assist the rest of the team as needed
WORK ENVIRONMENT- We are a small, private, fee-for-service dental practice. We are known for our state-of-the art technology and extremely comfortable patient experience. Our office is brand new, ultra-modern, and high-tech. We use Dentrix and Nexhealth.
We expect all employees to be professional, respectful, and excited about dentistry and the ability to help our patients. All team members are expected to continue to grow in their role over time.
HOURS
Mondays and Tuesdays 7:45am - 5:30pm
Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45am - 4pm
Optional Friday mornings
COMPENSATION
$24-30/hour, depending on experience. Bonuses each month up to $1000. Uniforms. 2 weeks of PTO plus two additional paid weeks off and all holidays.
Dental experience is preferred - OR a STRONG customer service background and willingness to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 â 40 per week
