Job Description
Gentle Care Family Dental is hiring an individual looking to work as a team in order to provide patients with the highest quality dental care as a Certified Dental Assistant. This position does the following:
Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment.
Prepares treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.
Assisting the patient to understand the proposed treatment plans, listening to patients' needs and educating them on dental procedures.
Assists the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
Records medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient.
Records treatment information in patient records.
Actively participates in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service.
Assists with other duties as needed will be cross trained for other duties.
Requirements for Dental Assistant:
Certification as a Dental Assistant - Required
Radiology certification - Required
A positive attitude is a must and willing to work an occasional Saturday as patient flow requires.
CPR certification - Required
Denticon experience also a plus, but not required.
A friendly, outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills.
Able to multi-task without losing quality work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
