Job SummarySchultz Family Dental is a private, small, family dental practice that is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist in providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, kindness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
We are seeking someone to work on Monday and Friday for 8 hours each day
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed and ensure proper documentation of medical records.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and medical documentation.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the dental clinic.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental assisting techniques is essential.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with industry developments.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
