Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various clinical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take medical imaging, including X-rays and 3D scans, as required.
Record and maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records.
Monitor and document vital signs of patients before procedures.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
Support pediatric patients with a gentle approach to ensure their comfort during visits.
Assist in prosthodontics procedures as needed, ensuring all materials are prepared in advance.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
