Job Description
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays and has X-Ray certificate
-use iTero scanner to scan patients- Perform patient assessments and record medical histories- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:- Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry- Knowledge of aseptic technique for instrument sterilization- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry- Ability to perform patient assessments and record accurate medical histories- Experience using a dental practice management software- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping- Skilled in infection control procedures to prevent the spread of diseases in the dental officeAs a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist, providing quality care to patients, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the dental office.
