Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries- Educate patients on oral health and proper dental care techniques- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays for diagnosis- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care- Stay informed about advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry is a plus- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems- Ability to perform patient assessments including vital signs monitoring- Competence in reading and interpreting medical imaging results
