Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate should be able to perform a range of dental procedures including endodontics and oral surgery. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Perform various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options to promote overall health.
Uphold strict infection control standards and aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license with the ability to practice dentistry in the state of employment.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
Experience or familiarity with endodontics, oral surgery, and other relevant dental specialties is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
