We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Dental Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional dental care.
Job Description:As a Dental Assistant at East Town Dental, you will play an essential role in assisting our dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. You will be a key part of our team, interacting with patients, helping them feel at ease, and supporting our dentist in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing chairside support.
Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following infection control and sterilization protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Dental Assistant certification (preferred).
CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting (preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and dental software (a plus).
