Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up with patients as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the dental office.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of medical coding, anatomy, and general dentistry practices is beneficial.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate patient records and managing office tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing exceptional patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.14 - $22.51 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Rotating weekends
Work Location: In person
