Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support our dentists in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This role involves a variety of tasks, including assisting during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a clean and safe environment in the dental clinic.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Perform medical documentation accurately, maintaining patient records and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic.
Maintain knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and anatomy to assist effectively.
Skills
Proficiency in medical coding related to dental procedures is preferred.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of medical documentation practices.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices in a clinical environment.
Familiarity with dental systems and software for record management.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A commitment to continuous learning in areas such as general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and anatomy knowledge.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.03 per hour
