Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to add to our dynamic team in a small patient centric dental office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and instruments
Taking dental x-rays
Taking and recording patient medical and dental histories
Providing patient education and answering questions
Sterilizing dental instruments
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Strong chairside assisting skills
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
