Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while maintaining a clean and organized dental environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs.
Conduct dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, while ensuring patient comfort.
Review medical documentation and maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Manage patients with a focus on creating a positive experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role within a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes and documentation review is essential.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, particularly in managing young patients effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients of all ages.
