Job OverviewWe are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our General dental practice part or full time to help with a busy schedule.. 1 to 4 days per week M-Th. We are flexible on days. 8-6pm. No Fridays or weekends. 1 Hr appointments, and lunch. Benefits available with full time. Right off of I-79, close to Canonsburg Hospital. Friendly, stable staff.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental issues.
Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately using Dentrix or similar systems.
Review documentation to ensure compliance with dental office protocols and standards.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, general dentistry, and dental terminology.
Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation review processes.
Proficient in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
