Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive dental services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent communication skills to ensure a comfortable experience for our patients.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans.
Document patient treatment and progress accurately in electronic health records.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry as needed.

Skills

Proficiency in working within a dental office environment, with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry and anatomy knowledge.
Experience with medical coding for accurate billing processes.
Ability to perform medical imaging procedures as required.
Strong patient care skills, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout treatments.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain hygiene standards.
Experience or interest in pediatrics is a plus.

We are looking for a candidate that can work at least 1-4 days a week. Bonus given based on number of hours worked.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $56.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
