Salaried, exempt
New hires can expect to be placed on our starting wage scale of $144,892 to $181,105 per year.
Based on performance, there is room to grow on our full wage scale from $144,892 to $217,401 per year.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, 4-10's Mon-Fri

Job Summary
Unity Care NW is dedicated to breaking the cycle of dental disease that runs in families. To prevent this, we provide dental care to children of all ages at our clinics and via our mobile dental program that provides routine dental care at elementary and middle schools, Head Start programs, and daycare centers throughout Whatcom County. As a provider for our Bellingham pediatric dental clinic, you would see patients from childhood through 26 years old.

Requirements:
DDS or DMD
current Washington State Dental License.
one or more years of experience as a clinical dentist preferred, especially in a community or public health setting.
current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate.
current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (we can offer this training upon hire, free of charge)
be reliable & team-oriented with a collaborative approach to practice
have the ability to use Electronic Dental Records, specifically Dentrix &eRX, and Microsoft Office programs
be able to understand and respond effectively and with sensitivity to children and special populations served by UCNW - special populations include those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, sex, sexual orientation, economic standing, disability, migrant and seasonal workers, experiencing homelessness and others.
