Job Description

Island Periodontics and Implants is looking to hire an experienced dental hygienist. We are seeking a caring and determined team member who likes to work in fast paced environments. Willingness to refine and continue to further education in clinical technique through in house CE and out of office CE opportunities. Responsibilities include routine periodontal maintenance, collecting and recording health history, taking x-rays, and charting dental conditions. Work week Monday - Thursday
Qualifications

Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong understanding of dental and medical terminology
Experience with patient assessment and general dentistry
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical record management
Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation review
Preferred experience with Eaglesoft and Dentrix software

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $68.00 - $72.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
