Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various dental procedures. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized.
Take and develop X-rays in compliance with safety regulations.
Utilize Practice works software for patient scheduling, record keeping, and billing processes.
Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the cleanliness of the treatment area.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, demonstrating patience and understanding with young patients.
Support endodontic treatments by preparing materials and assisting the dentist as needed.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required during specific procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve workflow and enhance patient experience.
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical coding is a plus for billing purposes.
Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using X-ray equipment and understanding safety protocols related to radiography is essential.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $20.68 - $27.00 per hour
