OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, including knowledge in prosthodontics and medical imaging, as well as familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Perform X-ray imaging as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Manage patient records using dental software systems, including Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of prosthodontics preferred.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and X-ray procedures.
Proficient in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
