Job Overview:Premium Pay for Premium Hours! We are a patient centric office that is focused on seeing the patients when they want to come. We are looking for someone with flexible hours that can work until 7 pm and weekends. This can be a full time or part time position. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care under the supervision of a licensed dentist. The ideal candidate will be very professional in appearance and demeanor. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing and a pleasure for patients and co-workers to associate with. This is a drama free office. The ideal candidate will be available to work 3-7 pm Monday-Friday and occasional weekends
Duties:- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with procedures as needed- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Take and label dental x-rays and intra-oral photos- Maintain accurate patient records- Perform periodontal charting and assist with treatment planning- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Administer fluoride treatments
Qualifications:- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Valid state hygiene license- Proficiency in Open Dental software preferred- Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control protocols- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus- Familiarity with medical coding for dental procedures- Laser certification or ability to get certified
Nice-to-have Skills:- Experience in general dentistry practices- Familiarity with managing medical records in a dental office setting- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques- Understanding of pediatric dentistry principles- Proficiency in infection control measures
