Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
Conduct patient assessments and document oral health history.
Review medical records and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Experience in patient care and medical records management is desirable.
Familiarity with documentation review processes and medical imaging techniques is beneficial.

Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $50.17 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
