Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and patient care, possessing a strong knowledge of dental procedures and practices.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventative care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain patient records accurately- Administer local anesthetics under the direction of a dentist- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Conduct initial patient screenings
Skills- Proficiency in dental terminology and aseptic technique- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and medical terminology- Ability to take vital signs accurately- Familiarity with medical coding and dental assisting- Experience with CAD software for dental applications- Understanding of medical imaging techniques- Strong anatomy knowledge for oral health assessments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
