OverviewWe're on the lookout for a fabulous Dental Hygienist to join our warm and welcoming dental family! The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and top-notch patient care, with a strong knowledge of all things dental. *We are looking for someone to work on Wednesdays from 8:45am-3pm, and Fridays from 8:45am-1pm. More hours may be available in the future if wanted.*
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings, assess need for perio procedures, and properly probe and chart findings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Take dental x-rays and intraoral images- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Review medical histories and update patient charts- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Requirements- Previous experience with Dentrix preferred, but willing to train- Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques- Understanding of dental anatomy and terminology- Ability to review and maintain accurate medical documentation- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care- **MUST BE ABLE TO ANESTHETIZE**
*Pay is negotiable based on experience.*
