Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Assess and record vital signs and medical histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with dental standards.
Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist.
Maintain aseptic techniques in all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and scheduling.
Provide support in dental assisting tasks as needed within the office.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology.
Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
Strong skills in patient care, including empathy and communication.
Familiarity with documentation review processes within a dental office setting.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe working environment.
Previous experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $44.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 ââ¬â 21 per week
