Our office is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing TEAM! If you are knowledgeable, efficient, caring, honest, highly motivated and possess excellent communication and organizational skills, this may be the job for you! Requirements:
∙ Valid RDH License
∙ CPR
∙ X-ray Certificate
∙ 2-5 years clinical experience with hygiene and non-surgical periodontal care
∙ Familiarity with digital x-rays
∙ Competence with licensed duties: prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, administer local anesthesia, sealants, etc.
∙ Comfortable using computers for a variety of tasks.
∙ Experience with Dentrix and Dexis a plus, but not a requirement
∙ Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
∙ Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
∙ Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
∙ Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
∙ Excellent co-diagnosis talents and great interpersonal skills
∙ Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
∙ Sterilize dental instruments properly
∙ Monitor supplies
∙ Possess a professional and positive attitude
