Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to children, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the treatment process. You will work closely with our pediatric dentists to deliver preventive care and education to young patients and their families.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for pediatric patients.
Review medical records and documentation to ensure accurate patient history.
Take and review vital signs as part of the initial assessment.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
Assist in various dental procedures, providing support to the dentist as needed.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and dietary recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Perform medical imaging as required, ensuring quality results for diagnosis.
Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to pediatric dentistry.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care with a gentle approach.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 18 per week
