Job Description
Our office is looking for a part-time or full-time dental assistant to become a valuable member of our growing team. We prioritize patient care and comfort, ensuring each appointment allows ample time for personalized attention. This approach also provides our assistants with the time they need to properly set up and prepare for each procedure, creating a supportive and efficient work environment.
Assistants are essential for helping patients have a positive experience and ensuring their dental appointments go smoothly. Our ideal candidate would have a great attitude, strong work ethic and excellent inter-personal skills to assist in making sure patients are comfortable and informed about their dental treatments. They would enjoy working together as a team, and be able to communicate effectively.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, proficient knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology; ability to multi-task in a clinical environment; have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, have strong organization skills and be computer proficient. Radiology license is a plus.

Responsibilities
Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records/notes
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 ââ¬â 40 per week
