Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry practices.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and managing supplies.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical records.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when required.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients.

Requirements

Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential.
Experience in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and familiarity with X-ray procedures is preferred.
Proficiency in using dental software, particularly Dentrix, for efficient practice management.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable.
