Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality treatments. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists during various procedures, including cleanings and other specialized treatments.- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.- Manage patient records accurately using dental software.- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment in compliance with health regulations.- Support the front office with scheduling appointments and managing medical records when necessary.- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Requirements- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.- Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous.- Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and medical coding is a plus.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage patient records effectively.- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and team members professionally.- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.- Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred.
