Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help provide efficient and quality dental care to patients.
Duties:- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
Skills:- Proficiency in dental terminology- Knowledge of infection control protocols- Familiarity with medical/dental records management- Ability to perform patient assessment systems- Understanding of anatomy and dental procedures- Experience with OpenDental, and dental imaging software
