Job OverviewHello! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice! We are looking for someone to work Thursdays and Fridays! Here at Grove Creek Dental we take great pride in our work! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. You will play a crucial role in educating patients on oral health and hygiene practices while assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care.
Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, scaling and root planning procedures using appropriate techniques.
Experience with Open Dental is a plus.
Educate patients on preventive care, oral hygiene practices, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans for patients, particularly in pediatric cases.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Skills

Proficient in medical records management and patient assessment techniques.
Familiarity with medical coding practices related to dental procedures is a plus.
Experience in vital signs monitoring and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to educate patients effectively.
Ability to assist the dental team as needed during various procedures.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
