We are excited to invite a dedicated dental hygienist to join our team one full day a week (Flexible). For over 30 years, we have proudly served our community from the same location.
As a small private practice, we prioritize preventive care and patient relationships, seeing only one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealant application, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screenings, and X-rays.
- Educate patients about the importance of oral hygiene, providing instructions and demonstrations for effective oral hygiene practices.
- Communicate with the doctor regarding opportunities for restorative and/or periodontal treatments for patients.
- Update the dental records of returning patients to ensure their health history is current.
**Qualifications:**
- Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and possession of a valid state license.
- X-Ray/Radiology Certification, as required by state regulations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
