Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in the oral health of our patients, providing a comprehensive range of services in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental hygiene treatments for patients, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing.- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology, such as Dentrix, to maintain accurate records and monitor patient care.- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide personalized care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.- Perform medical coding and maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of patient care.- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and dietary habits to prevent oral health issues.- Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist to ensure efficient and effective treatment.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and anatomy, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field.- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state of employment.- Strong knowledge of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and dental anatomy.- Proficiency in medical terminology and HIPAA compliance.- Experience with dental software and systems, including Dentrix.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining a patient-centered approach.
