Job Description

In our dental office, all that is good begins with a smile! We are looking for registered dental hygienist with an upbeat personality who will complement our team environment with professionalism and positivity, and make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and patient care during your dental hygiene appointments. Dental hygienist should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
Licenses

Registered Dental Hygiene Licensure (required)
CPR certification (required)

Responsibilities

Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed for your appointments
Take xrays, provide thorough dental cleanings, evaluate future patient care based on patient needs and clinical findings.
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Schedule your patient's next appointment
Enter detailed clinical notes into dental software
Maintain accurate patient records
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Keep the operatory clean and well-stocked

Skills

Registered Dental Hygienist (2+ years of experience)
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable

Office hours:
Monday: 7:40-11:50 & 12:40 - 4:00 pm
Tuesday: 7:40 -11:00 & 11:30 - 2:00 pm
Wednesday: 7:40-11:50 & 12:40 - 4:00 pm
Thursday: 7:40-11:50 &12:40 -4:00 pm
