Summary
We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team at Access Dental & Orthodontics . In this role, you will assist orthodontists in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring a positive experience while contributing to our mission of serving the community.
Responsibilities
Assist orthodontists during procedures and examinations.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area for patient care.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Assist in taking diagnostic records, including X-rays and impressions.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Requirements
Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant or in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control practices and HIPAA regulations.
Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Epic) is a plus.

Pay: $18.07 - $20.00 per hour
