Huggins Dental is hiring!
We are in need of an enthusiastic and hard-working Dental Assistant to join our team. We currently have 3 dental assistants, and we are looking to add a 4th. Huggins Dental is a single location, private practice located off of Poinsett Highway between downtown Greenville and Travelers Rest.
We are looking for an assistant who is comfortable and competent assisting in a general dentistry setting. Applicant should be comfortable assisting with a wide a range of specialty procedures. Our office has the latest technology and design to allow for flexibility, efficiency and an enjoyable work setting.

Hours- Monday-Thursday: 8:15-5, Friday: 8:15-1:30
Responsibilities
Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform expanded duty tasks including coronal polishing, restoration polishing and temporary fabrication
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma
CPR certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
