Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our periodontal practice one day a week (Thursdays). The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and oral hygiene guidance to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Conduct dental assessments and assist in treatment planning- Take dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Administer local anesthesia under the direction of the dentist- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Requirements- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in aseptic technique and HIPAA regulations- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and patient assessment
