Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and ensuring a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and the ability to communicate effectively with patients about their oral health.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral hygiene for patients.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images as needed.
Review and document patient care procedures, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols.
Assist in medical coding for dental procedures and maintain accurate records in the dental office management software, such as Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Adhere to infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of infection control practices and ability to implement them effectively within the practice.
Experience with medical imaging equipment is desirable but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain treatment plans clearly.

Pay: $62.00 - $65.00 per hour
