Dental Hygienist needed in our Los Angeles, CA dental office

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Hygienist for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

We are a fee-for-service dental practice whose hygienists enjoy autonomy regarding a patient's diagnosis and treatment recommendation. Dental hygiene practice experience is preferred.  Our patients have a high dental IQ, have been referred by word-of-mouth and have come to expect honest, competent care in order to maintain their health and smiles.

Who We're Looking For

We want an outstanding hygienist for one to two days a week-choose from Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays..

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat up to 8 patients per day, take vitals of blood pressure and pulse
• Piezo scale follwed by hand scaling and Arestin using topical, Oraqix and local anesthesia as needed.
• Take periodic (4 BW and 2PA) xrays.
• Recommend what is best to your Patient- home care, and a personalized recall interval.
• Clean and restock your room.  Transport your instruments to the Sterilization area, where you will help and be helped by other staff.
• We have a cooperative staff who looks out for each other.
