OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient dental practice while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to support both the dental team and our patients.
Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, fillings, and extractions.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Manage patient scheduling, confirming appointments, and handling any inquiries.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, especially X-ray procedures.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
